1.Introduction

The product is a constant current power supply. The adjusting range of the output current is 0-20A. The power supply includes circuits for water flow protection. The main circuit will be shutdown immediately. 

2.Safety Precautions

2.1Do not connect or disconnect the module to the supply when the supply have been triggered! This is very important!

2.2Do not repair this power supply by yourself. Please operate according to the installation manual. 

2.3Before connect the power supply to electric network, please check the rated voltage of the AC adapter to ensure that the required voltage and frequency match this power supply. 

3.System Function and Main Technical Parameters

3.1Output Current:  0-20A ±1%

3.2Output Ripple:  ≤0.5%

3.3Output Display: Current and Voltage

3.4Output Triggering Switch;

3.5Input Voltage:  AC220V±20%;

3.6Cooling System:  Air-cooling

3.7Soft-startup Function:  surge current cannot pass through the load whenever the power supply is turned on or turned off;

3.8Both AC input and DC output are on the back panel;

3.9The switch of “remote/local” controlling:  The output current is controlled by the potentiometer on the front panel if this switch is set at “local”, the output current is controlled by the external voltage from the back panel if this switch is set as “remote”;

3.10The connector of remote control is a 9 pin RS232 connector. 

4.Operation Manual

4.1Check the electric network

Single-phase electricity is required, the range of the voltage is AC176—264V, the range of the frequency is 50—60Hz, the minimum input current is 10A.

4.2Connect the power cable

Connect the power cable to the power connector on the back of the case.. 

4.3Grounding

Imperfect grounding can cause being shocked. The ground wire in the power cable is used for grounding.

4.4To select local controlling mode, push the “remote/local” controlling switch to “local”. To select remote controlling mode, push the “remote/local” controlling switch to “remote”, then connect the outside controlling voltage (0~24V corresponding to 0~20A)to pin 3 and 4 (3: +, 4: -) of the RS232 connector. Pin 1 and 4(1: +, 4: -) of the RS232 connector are used for the trigger supply(DC5V).

4.5Connect the Diode pumped module to the power supply. The electrical polarity should be checked. ( Red is anode , Black is cathode ) 

4.6Turn on the power supply. The output current is set by the potentiometer on the front panel in local controlling mode and by the outside controlling voltage on the back panel in remote controlling mode. Push the “START/STOP” pushbutton on the front panel. The red lamp in pushbutton on the front panel is turned on, at the same time, the working current is output. 

4.7To turn off the power supply, you should Push the “START/STOP” pushbutton again, and the red lamp in pushbutton is turn off. At last, turn off the switch of the power supply.
