Introduce:

Manipulator is able to imitate human hand and arm of some action functions, with a fixed program to grab, handling objects or operating tools of the automatic operation. Structure:

Manipulator is mainly composed of three parts, the hand, the motion mechanism and the control system.

Hand is used to hold the workpiece (or tools) parts, has variety of structural forms according to the shape, size, weight, material and job requirements of the object is to hold, such as holding type, hold type and adsorption type, etc.. 

The movement mechanism, which causes the hand to complete all kinds of rotation (swing), move or compound movement to achieve the prescribed action, change the position and posture of the grasped object. In order to grab any position and orientation of the object in space, need 6 degrees of freedom. Degree of freedom is the key parameter in the design of manipulator. The more degree of freedom, the greater the flexibility of the manipulator, the wider the versatility, the more complex the structure. General special manipulator has 2 ~ 3 degrees of freedom. 

Control system is to complete the specific action by the control of each degree of freedom of the manipulator. At the same time, the feedback of the sensor is received, and the stable closed loop control is formed. The core of the control system is usually composed of single-chip microcomputer or DSP and other micro control chip.

Classification:

According to the driving mode can divide into hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, mechanical hand, according to the scope of application can divide into special manipulator and general manipulator; According to the control of motion trajectory can divide into point control and continuous trajectory control manipulator, etc..
